Table Tennis Coaching

No matter what level you play at, from complete beginner to International standard, everyone benefits from coaching.  Coaching is available at the following clubs & venues:

  • Baildon Table Tennis Club 
    Saturdays mornings, sessions run by Level 2 and Level 1 qualified coaches
    Coaching for juniors (ages 6 to 16) and beginners  - 09:00  to 10.00 
    Coaching for adults incl league players - 10.00  to 12 noon

  • Dewsbury Table Tennis Club
    Monday Night 18:15 - 20:15  - all ages

    Coaching is available for all ages and any ability. All are welcome and the sessions are run by a level 2 qualified coach. The cost is £7 per person and it runs from 6:15pm until 8:15pm. Equipment can be provided, so why not pop along and give it a go?
  • Heaton Tennis & Squash Club
    We have group coaching sessions for all ages and abilities on a Friday from 10:00-11:00. Do give us a call if you would like to join these sessions Tel: 01274 541508
  • Hermits Table Tennis Club
    Fridays and Saturdays: 16:30 to 18:00, 18:00 to 19:30, and 19:30 to 21:00.
    These sessions usually include head-to-head games and the fun 'Top Table' session.
    We don't offer individual coaching in these sessions.
    Sunday mornings: 9:00 to 10:00, 10:00 to 11:00, and 11:00 to 12:00.
    The Sunday morning sessions are for beginners, and are by appointment only.

Becoming A Coach

Interested in becoming a qualified Table Tennis coach?  Table Tennis England run courses on a regular basis for all levels of coaching:

  1. Level 1 - Session Coach - Provides learners with the necessary skills to be able to plan and deliver basic table tennis coaching activities or sessions
  2. Level 2 - Lead Coach - Provides learners with the necessary skills to be able to plan and deliver basic table tennis coaching activities or sessions
  3. Level 3 - Head Coach
  4. Level 4 - Elite Coach
